The Lost ColonyThe Lost Colony is a two hour outdoor play that tells the story of the 117 men, women and children who established the first English settlement in the new world on Roanoke Island in 1587 and then mysteriously disappeared. The Lost Colony is America’s first and longest-running outdoor drama performed under the stars at the beautiful Waterside Theatre on Roanoke Island, The Lost Colony is great vacation entertainment for your entire family. Off-shore FishingA few miles to the south of your vacation beach house is Oregon Inlet separating Nags Head and Hatteras Island and the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center where you can charter a boat and spend the day deep-sea fishing.
